Asgard’s Wrath 2 is available now. It is the sequel to Asgard’s Wrath which released for the Oculus Rift on October 10th, 2019. While the previous game required you to be hooked up to a PC to play the game on an Meta Quest, the new game is a native application. It can be enjoyed by anyone with a Meta Quest 2, 3, or Pro.

Xbox Cloud Gaming on Quest

Xbox has released a beta version of the Xbox Cloud Gaming app, on the Meta Quest Platform. Support for this app has been provided on Meta Quest 2, 3, and Pro. In order to use this app, you need to have the latest software update for your Quest device, and you need to have a Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscription. This will allow you to stream games from the Xbox Game Pass library on a 2D virtual display. You are not required to have a console or a TV. The current controllers supported by the beta version of the app are: Xbox Controllers, PS4 Controllers, and the Nintendo Switch Pro Controller. Plans to add the PS5's Dualsense controller at a later date has also been announced.

This has been a long time coming... I started this project back in late 2019 as a way for me save money on games. I thought it would be a fun project. It would help me learn about building websites. I had done very basic work in HTML before, and felt confident I could figure it all out. I greatly underestimated the amount of work it would take. Why did it take so long?
